Aluminum wheels can be heat treated to improve the performance, mechanical properties, size and shape accuracies. The following types of heat treatment processes are available based on your needs.
- Artificial aging: improve hardness, strength and performance.
- Annealing: eliminate work hardening during machining; improve sizing stability and plasticity.
- Solid solution strengthening: improve strength and hardness; higher plasticity and better corrosion resistance available; easy for further processing and molding.
- Aging treatment: enhance strength and hardness; high mechanical stability, precise dimension and shape available.
